How to Apply for College Online at Grace

Maybe you’ve been through the application process for a residential college program, but now you’re looking to apply for college online. What does the process entail? Is it the same? Is it different? What are the key elements that I need to know?

At Grace, we’ve made it quite simple. We cut out the extra steps and requirements to make the process as smooth as humanly possible. Applying for your online program is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Fill out our free application

This is the same process across the board — online and residential. We are on the short list of colleges that are free to apply to. And not only is our application free — it’s very straightforward. Fill out the form with some basic information, your enrollment plans, and your education background. (We promise, it’s painless!) Within five minutes, you’ll be clicking the apply button at the bottom of the page, and that’s all you have to do for this first step!

2. Submit your transcripts.

After you’ve submitted the application, we will need your transcripts. These are official documents that provide proof of the education you have received thus far. If your latest educational experience was high school, then you will need to request your official transcripts from the high school you attended. If you’ve received your bachelor’s or associate degree, then you’ll request your official transcripts from your college.

Once you receive them, send your transcripts to us at admissions@grace.edu.

3. Send us your supporting documents.

Depending on the program you enroll in, you might need to send us some supporting documents. To find out what is required for your specific program, visit our programs page, click on your program, and scroll down to the “How to Apply” section. This will lay out each step for you. For some programs, (like our bachelor’s of psychology) all you have to do is submit your transcripts (see step 2). For others, (like our master’s of clinical mental health counseling) you will need to submit a professional reference, conduct an interview, and request a background check. Because each program is different, it’s imperative that you look and see what is required of you.

Shortly after you have completed the previous three steps, you will receive an admissions decision from us. At that point, you can submit your enrollment deposit to secure your spot in the next admissions cycle. Then you can start your degree and be on your way to having the career you’ve always wanted.

And remember, as simple as these three steps are to apply for college online, our admissions counselors will be there for you every step of the way. If you have any questions or concerns, simply call 888-249-0533 or email us at onlineadmissions@grace.edu.
